So here I am, on the prowl for players to engage with in my favorite RPG, Dungeons & Dragons (4E), yet I am flooded with ideas on why I SHOULD'NT play! What the F**K!? I so badly want to play and it's buggin me that I have as of yet found some players. *insert 'ARGH" here*
Oh well.
Oh well.
This new year of ours.
And now i must take another break.
Now is the time to breathe.
In and out.
Many things have changed my outlook on life as of late. I'd rather not indulge any specifics, but let's just say that things will be getting better (we hope).
In the coming weeks and months i want to:
Submit more photos to dA.
Play D&D with my son more.
Hang out with my wife more often.
Get together with friends again.
...among other things...
So if anyone reads this and feels compelled, let your ideas float on over here and fuse with my mind.
Respects to you all,
and Happy New Year!
dungeons, dragons and photograpthy
this is going to be long -and full of it-
so here i am, dm-ing for a group playing dungeons and dragons (4th edition). i'm loving every minute of session time, i really am. as of late, i want to scribble an idea down or bounce a thought off someone, but finding it difficult, seeing as most of my friends and newly-met folks are either busy/not around/not even calling back (which bugs me the most, actually).
so now what? i even have my son (who's 3 1/2 now) kind of playing. (he mainly tosses the dice around and moves a miniature around the battlemat and says things like, "i moved my guy and throw a ball at him and he fall down!" my niece
favorites and comments
i enjoy feedback, as do most people i've met here on dA. my frustration is thus: people need to actually give their 2 cents when they "collect or "favorite" a deviation. it stirs something in me that quite frankly makes me extremely mad at those people. i do admit i used to do that, but recently it occurred to me that that was insanely selfish.
that is all.
Playing Dungeons and Dragons
...After almost 20 years, I am getting my feet wet in the pool that is D&D. So happy I am, so happy.
